The primary aim of the library is to serve as a resource centre for the little scholars by providing a reservoir of knowledge in the form of books, journals, magazines, encyclopedias, appropriate fictions, biographies etc. Reading  will  be  actively  promoted  and  pursued  at  The Mayoor School Bhopal.  Both  fiction  and  non-fiction  reading  materials  in  age-appropriate  gradations  will  be  available  for  teachers  and  students alike.
 
The library will have theme based layouts like –  nature for geography ,eras for history , fairyland for nursery and KG children etc.  ‘Golden Moment Corner’ will be for story telling , creative writing  and  craft work.  Stories enacted through puppet shows  will make the library  a place students will look forward to visit.

The e-library facility at our school will enable extensive use of computers for research and latest information. It will motivate and engage visual and young learners through illustrations, pictures,sounds and 3D effects. The technology available will help to improve visual and observational skill, self help skills, concepts of position and direction and of  colours and textures etc.

Thus along with enhancing and expanding the school’s curriculum, the library at The Mayoor School will provide enjoyment and entertainment to its students. .
